Alquiber offers its customers an even more efficient and secure service with the digitalization of all administrative processes.

Alquiber flexible leasing
  • During this time of restrictions, Alquiber has continued to work to serve its customers, keeping all its employees on the job without resorting to ERTE, adapting its operations to keep its branches open throughout Spain, and ensuring service under normal conditions—always taking the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • Now, as restrictions are being lifted, the leading company in the flexible vehicle leasing industry has set out to tackle new challenges by increasing the efficiency and security of all its administrative processes through the implementation of an innovative tool—the Docuten platform—which will streamline procedures, reduce costs, and eliminate any risk of infection.

XXXX, June XX – With the world at a standstill due to the restrictive measures imposed in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Alquiber set out to overcome all obstacles without laying off any of its employees and by maintaining full operational capacity to continue offering its customers the same service and support as always, especially to those who have carried out essential work in the fight against the virus (logistics, water and electricity supply, hospitals, laundries, SUMMA 112, etc.). To this end, the leading company in the flexible vehicle leasing business implemented a series of measures designed to ensure the safety of its customers and employees and eliminate any possibility of infection during the course of its operations (support for remote work, the implementation of additional hygiene measures at all its locations, and a meticulous process for the thorough disinfection of vehicles…).

However, now that restrictions have begun to be lifted, Alquiber knows that this is not the time to let its guard down, but rather to stay on its toes. Therefore, aware both of the importance of remaining vigilant and of the fact that, following the lockdown, its clients will need more support and security than ever, it has decided to take another step forward in its goal of offering an efficient and 100% secure service by fully digitizing its administrative processes. Thanks to the implementation of the Docuten platform, Alquiber’s clients will be able to access all the benefits of digital signatures, electronic invoicing, and automated collections, among many other services that will no longer require in-person visits.

Efficiency, speed, cost savings, and safety

The first administrative procedures to be digitized will be digital signatures and electronic invoicing—two initial steps toward a future of full digitization—which will allow Alquiber and its clients to manage all their documents (contracts, deliveries, invoices, etc.) without having to travel, without paper documents, and without having to rely on postal services to send them—which will increase the efficiency and speed of processes, reduce costs, and eliminate any risk of infection. “At Alquiber, we are working on the digital transformation of our processes and reducing paper consumption in the office. By avoiding contact and maintaining social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve realized that paper use can be eliminated almost 100%,” says José Ramón Calvo, CEO of Alquiber.

“In line with Docuten’s mission to manage customer mobility in a sustainable and efficient manner,” explains Docuten CEO Brais Méndez, “Alquiber is taking another step toward that sustainability with a digital transformation that is strongly committed to eliminating the use of paper, thus becoming one of the pioneers in its sector in terms of the complete digitization of its administrative processes, and by being among the first to make a radical change in the way it operates.”

Regarding the implementation of this tool, Juan José Rodríguez, Alquiber’s Chief Financial Officer, confirms that “most of the processes related to managing customers and suppliers—which are essential for the finance department—were carried out with great success. When working with partners who assist with the implementation of new processes, we look for solutions that do not entail additional costs for us, and that was the case with Docuten.” For his part, Francisco Escribano, Alquiber’s IT Director, states that “in Docuten, we have found the perfect digital provider to tackle the digitization of the entire business cycle. Their technological solutions are easy to use and implement, and they ensure compliance with current regulations.”

The digitization of these processes and the resulting improvement in Alquiber’s efficiency—since the company will no longer have to devote as much effort to managing bureaucratic and automatable tasks—will allow the company to focus all of those financial and human resources on improving customer service and building closer relationships with customers, which are the company’s key strengths and what has always set it apart from its competitors.

Alquiber is a Spanish company founded in 2000 and a leader in the flexible leasing business, serving large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and self-employed professionals who need vehicles—whether industrial or commercial—to carry out their business plans. In July 2018, Alquiber began trading on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB) in the Expanding Companies segment, making growth the company’s main driver, both in terms of expanding its fleet and opening new branches. The company’s current market capitalization stands at €33.13 million.
