Tuesday, October 27 – The Spanish Railway Infrastructure Administrator (Adif) has selected Alquiber as the successful bidder for a contract to supply vehicles under a long-term lease agreement worth 34.4 million euros. This Spanish public entity, which reports to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda, will use Alquiber’s vehicles throughout its network to carry out operational and technical activities related to its business: the construction of railroad lines and the management of their operations.

According to the Official State Gazette (BOE) published on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the Spanish infrastructure manager received three bids for this contract, one of which was from Alquiber Quality. Alquiber Quality was ultimately selected over larger competitors because it offered top-quality services nationwide at the most competitive price.

According to José Ramón Calvo, CEO of Alquiber, “At Alquiber, we remain committed to providing mobility solutions to both large and small clients who need high-quality fleets during these challenging times we are facing. We are fully convinced that these are times when we must stand out in a highly competitive market filled with large companies, but we approach this as a daily challenge. Our entire team works to provide the service our customers demand. This contract award is the result of our continuous efforts and our ability to tackle the challenges that arise at every turn. We are confident that we will deliver the service Adif requires of us, far exceeding the expectations set, as we have a great, young team with extensive experience in the leasing industry, and quality customer service is one of our core pillars. We remain committed to alternative energy sources and will continue to increase the number of such vehicles in our fleet.”
